System tanks are not only designed for optimal heat pump operation but also to enable connection to different types of energy source. The most complete have integrated control and can prioritize the cheapest energy type.
They also have a display, heating/hot water charging, mixer control and electric immersion heater control. The next level down (VPG) is hydraulically designed for heat pump operation, is controlled externally (ExoTrol Master) but can still be connected to different types of energy.
ExoTank VPX200C-300C are our best heat pump tanks, and together with any of our heat pumps they not only provide great savings but also top class hot water capacity. They are prepared for docking with other energy sources such as solar collectors, wood or pellet-burning boilers.
Accessories are available for controlling the solar collectors, pool and hot water circulation.
ExoTank VPX has integrated control and an extra immersion heater to even out peak demands. Hot water production is completely Legionella proof and the VPX tanks are ready for docking with solar, geothermal, pellets or wood-fired heating. The system tank is the heart of the flexifuel system. BASIC is the simple base model with an attractive price that can be equipped and upgraded as needed. An excellent choice when the only requirement is for hot water or household heating with the heat pump.
All Euronom heat pumps can be docked to ExoTank VPG. A flexible system tank but without integrated control. You choose how the hydraulic and technical control solutions should be. ExoTank VPG has a stainless steel coil that makes use of the whole tank and provides plenty of hot water. It can be ordered with or without a built-in solar coil, and can also be connected to a wood-burning boiler, water jacketed wood cassette, pellet boiler, kitchen boiler or electric immersion heater.
